When you meet someone, one of the first things they will notice is your face. They will notice if you have a clean groomed face or a 2 day old stubble.  You may be the only one who sees you shave but everyone else will notice the quality. Perhaps you use an electric razor or a multi-blade cartridge style razor.  You may choose to use a can of shaving foam or gel.  Have you ever finished that morning shave feeling like you just chopped off your face?  Do you feel like that electric gets the job done, but in an hour or two you have a 5 o’clock shadow building up?  Do you get razor burn, ingrown hairs, and little cuts?  In short, do you hate shaving?  For the most part our morning ritual of shaving is looked at as a painful chore.

We want to show you a better way!  What if that morning shave was a few minutes of luxury?  What if you could pamper yourself a bit? Traditional wet shaving is the answer to all the above mentioned questions.  The Unforgettable Man has a rich, smooth, and incredibly close shave everyday!  No substitutes and nothing but the best! During the next week we will be covering traditional wet shaving and the products that you need to begin traditional wet shaving.

What is Traditional Wet Shaving?

Traditional wet shaving is the way your father or grandfather used to shave.  Traditional wet shaving uses top quality shaving soaps or creams with a badger hair brush, a mug or bowl, double edge safety razor, and a good aftershave.  These are all premium products that will last a long time and provide a shaving experience second to none.  Traditional wet shaving provides an extra close and extremely comfortable shave.  Traditional wet shaving involves taking a badger hair shaving brush soaked in hot water and mixing a great thick lather from a classic soap in a mug or bowl.  You then use a Double edge safety razor to remove the whiskers and follow up with a great aftershave.

Why Switch to Traditional Wet Shaving?

These days money doesn’t go as far as it used to.  Plus, the unforgettable man is all about seeing the value and quality of something not just it’s price.  A pack of multi-blade cartridge razors go for $20 and up.  That adds up fast if you shave everyday.  Traditional wet shaving can save you quite a bit of money over the course of a year.  I am still working on a pack of 100 safety razor blades I bought about a year and a half ago.  That pack of blades was only $9.  To me the biggest factor in switching to traditional wet shaving is the comfort.  I used to be like most guys.  I hated to shave therefore I avoided it as much as I could.  I would get razor burn and irritation every time I shaved.  Once I discovered traditional wet shaving the burn was gone.  Now instead of dread, I look forward to shaving everyday.  That few minutes to mix a hot lather and apply it with a great badger hair brush is a time for me to relax and go back to time when life was a little less hectic and a little more gentlemanly.  Best of all, my wife loves the baby smooth skin on my face everyday.
